The right size is the difference between nails that last and nails that pop off. It takes five minutes to measure, and you only need to do it once.
How to measure
- Use a soft measuring tape, a strip of paper and a ruler, or our sizing kit. The kit is the easiest and most accurate way.
- Measure the widest part of each nail bed in millimetres, from one side edge to the other. Follow the curve of the nail rather than measuring straight across.
- Measure all ten fingers. Thumbs, index and pinky fingers vary the most, and your two hands are often slightly different.
- Write your sizes down in order: thumb, index, middle, ring, pinky, for each hand.
Using the sizing kit? Try the sample nails on each finger and pick the one that covers your nail from side to side without touching the skin.

Pick the size where most of your fingers match. If your fingers fall across two sizes, or your nails are wider than L, a custom set made to your exact measurements will fit best.
In-between sizes
If a measurement falls between two sizes, go up a size and file the sides down to fit. A nail that's slightly too wide can be filed into shape. A nail that's too narrow presses on your skin, lifts at the edges and pops off early.
Length guide
Length is measured from the cuticle to the tip of the press-on nail.

New to long nails? Start with S or M, then work your way up. Shapes change the look too: almond and oval make fingers look longer, while square and squoval look bold at any length. For XL and XXL sets, use nail glue rather than tabs for a secure hold.
